Famous Herbaceous Calamari
If you ever find yourself at Sequoia Brewing Company, do yourself a favor and order the herbaceous calamari. I've been back multiple times, and it has never let me down. What makes it stand out is the consistency. The calamari is always perfectly crispy — light, golden, and never greasy. Every bite has that satisfying crunch that gives way to tender, flavorful seafood inside. The tiny rings are my absolute go-to; they're perfectly sized, easy to share (or not!), and fried just right every single time. The herbaceous seasoning really elevates the dish, adding a fresh, aromatic touch that balances beautifully with the crisp coating. It's not overpowering — just enough to make it memorable and keep you reaching for another bite. Some places treat calamari like an afterthought, but here it clearly gets the attention it deserves. It's the kind of appetizer you order "for the table" but secretly hope you won't have to share too much of. Consistent, crispy, and full of flavor — this dish alone keeps me coming back.
Chicken Wings
I've had chicken wings at a lot of places, but Sequoia North has the best by far! Great for an app or a meal!

Mark Twain Chicken Sandwich
This place is awesome!! So, so thrilled they came back!! And the Manager, Emanuel, is the best ever!! They are so very lucky to have him!! The food and atmosphere rock, doesn't get any better than this place!! Definitely worth going back, again and again and again!! We love it here as well as my whole family!!
Tamarack Fish & Chips
When this dish is brought to your table, your eyes will be as big as the size of the fish! The immense size of the fish fillets immediately made me to a size comparison to my hand! Then it made me take out my camera to capture this beautiful dish. Once you have gotten past the size and gorgeous presentation and you have your first bite, you will be HOOKED! (Just like that fish once was— no pun intended lol) All jokes aside, this is my favorite dish and will not order this anywhere else!!
Mammoth Pass Marguerita
The Mammoth Pass Marguerita Flatbread is consistently good. Fresh ingredients, and I love the balsamic reduction drizzle. It is similar to, but lighter than, pizza. By the way, the Happy Hour Chicken Sliders are really good, too! Myra
Cajun Campfire Pasta
The CAJAN CAMPFIRE PASTA is my favorite item on the menu!! It never disappoints. It has delicious chicken, mushrooms and a creamy sauce coating the pasta. So good especially this time of year. The ultimate comfort food.
